[DNA-BOF] Revised Reading List for DNA BoF
Hi,
Here is an updated version of the reading list.
Thanks to Gab, Brett, Alper for their contributions.
At this stage the documents for discussion have not
got any implication of authority for inclusion in
the BoF's scope.
I'll try to get a rough agenda outline worked out
tonight for discussion.
Please remember that the Agenda & Description (and
Reading list?) should be submitted for BoF Approval
before 20th June so that this meeting can be scheduled
for IETF57.
I'll tackle revisions of the Description too for
tomorrow.

Link Identification:

L2 Triggering Documents:
I think that Link Up/Down triggers may play an important
role in providing fast attachment hints.
The documents listed here have a mobility focus, but
L2 information about attachment may have more
general applicability.
General Description of L2 Triggers
http://www.yegin.org/alper/draft-manyfolks-l2-mobilereq-02.txt
A protocol for conveying network side triggers (Wireless? AP-AR)
http://www.ietf.org/internet-drafts/draft-yegin-l2-triggers-01.txt
Address Configuration:
I'm not sure where the DNA meets Address Configuration/DAD
optimization. It is _at least_ a big consumer of
network attachment detection:
Optimistic DAD (odad)
http://www.ietf.org/internet-drafts/draft-moore-ipv6-optimistic-dad-02.txt
MLD to optimize DAD
http://www.ietf.org/internet-drafts/draft-daley-ipv6-mcast-dad-02.txt
Advanced DAD (adad)
http://www.ietf.org/internet-drafts/draft-han-mobileip-adad-00.txt
Which was preceded by several years by similar functionality in:
http://www.cs.ucl.ac.uk/staff/t.pagtzis/papers/draft-pagtzis-mobileip-proactivev6-00.txt
Stateless Address Configuration (incl DAD -- RFC 2462)
http://www.ietf.org/rfc/rfc2462.txt
