What we had in mind is that two routers on a same link, not in a wireless link
but in a wired link. For example they are connected to the same border router
like below.

This is complicated and, IMHO, we'd better not to deploy like above.
It gave us lots of problems. Wireless link is not as clear cut as wired one,
hence complication.
