I think that interest was actually only aimed at DAD
optimizations.  We want to be particularly sure that
if we discuss DAD, this is constrained to
performance issues (so long as the requirement of
correctness is maintained).

Solutions would similarly be focussed on those which
address performance requirements.  Of course we
probably need a problem statement before we can
get requirements.
