Hi JinHyeock,
It's good to hear from you.

We've done a lot of work on the charter,
but have to finalize arrangements regarding IPv6
DAD optimization.
What's happening there is that Pekka and I have
got to talk to the AD's and the IPv6 chairs to
ensure that each agrees where the DAD opt
work is.
This is mainly tied to document review and
participant interest. But I don't think there
will be a significant problem if either agreement
was reached.
As you can guess, e-mail responses have been slow
(my own included), as people recover from IETF and
in some cases have vacations.
What's not going to happen in this regard is that
the IPv6 DAD optimization work gets lost or dropped.
No-one wants that.
I'll get the latest draft of the charter up for discussion.
It will still have some DAD optimization text in place,
but this will be marked. I think that either reading
(with or without the DAD opt text) is OK.
Please have a look and see what you think.
I think there's more emphasis on link-change now,
and a strong delineation of what the scope is for
L2 Hints work.
I'll get it up for people to comment on.
If all goes well, we may have an agreement (about DAD)
within the first week or so of the coming year, which
we can discuss on the list.
Then the main job is to get the chartering done.
The ADs want to get this started (all things being OK)
within the next month.
I hope to get the charter to the AD's by the 7th Jan,
so that this can occur.
Greg
