[DNA-BOF] Signal Quality for MIP handoffs
Dear Greg, dear all!
I would like to ask you whether it is appropriate to use the signal quality
as a hint for MIP handoffs between heterogeneous wireless networks, e.g wlan
and celluar systems. Do you think that signal quality is one of the L2
parameter to decide when a handoff has to be occurred? For instance, the
signal quality can be used as a threshold to determine whether the current
link is reliable for data transmission or not.
Which IPv6 requirements have to be considered to define L2 hints (e.g.
signal quality) to establish MIP handoffs between wireless networks?
Thanks in advance.
