Seamoby terminology draft make the following definitions.
Interface
A node's point of attachment to a link.
IP access address
An IP address (often dynamically allocated) which a node uses to
designate its current point of attachment to the local network.
Assume a host with 802.11 b interface is attached to an Access Point.
According to the above definitions, both AP and WLAN interface can be
it's point of attachment.
Maybe people can understand what 'Point of Attachment' means with
the context. But I am not happy with this ambiguities.

So you propose the term 'Attachment Point'? Then we'd better clarity
its meaning and make the definition well-known. Maybe we need to
include the term 'Attachment Point' in Mobility Terminology draft.
And the draft Carl is preparing will be a nice place to start.
