I don't think it's necessary to include non-prefix link identifier as
part of the base DNA solution protocol.

IMHO, prefix based DNA solution will work for most of the cases. The
only exception I can think of is Ad-hoc network and I am not sure
whether DNA is needed at all in such an environment.

DNA detects the identity of the currently attached link to ascertain
the validity of IP configuration for Internet Connectivity. Whereas
it's not clear either what constitutes a Ad-Hoc link nor how Ad-Hoc
nodes will be connected to Internet.

Recently Autoconf WG is created to assign Ad-Hoc nodes a valid IP
address (and it may also consider Internet Gateway), so if we want to
work on DNA for Ad-Hoc network, we may need to wait till Autoconf
works are reasonably clarified.

So we'd better develop base DNA solution protocol based on prefix link
identifier and may develop non-prefix link identifier as an extension
if needs arise.

Thanks in advance for your kind consideration.
