ok.

ok but we need to measure actual detachment time with some precision,
which may be complicated. For example, exactly when an L2 link is
becoming down? In 802.11 case, upon completing association procedure,
we can say that an L2 link is up. But a wireless link can be down
without any formal procedure (such as de-association) because of
deteriorating channel condition.
